The reason I have Zetta for sale is to lessen my herd/work load, so I can get back to showing. Zetta is a great mother she has had 5 foals back to back for me. She's a wonderful loving mother will let you mess with the foals. She is easy to breed, hand or pasture. She's a beautiful Grullo color with a Cream gene making her a "Silver Grulla". Her full sister is Homozygous black and I bet Zetta is too, she has yet to produce a red gene foal (sorrel, palomino, dunalino). Zetta was broke to ride her 2yr old year by me and then had 90 days of reining training put on her by NRHA trainer Maryse Dupaul. In winter 2007 Zetta injured a ligament in her back leg, she was on 300 acres and there was no external damage...so we are guessing a combination of the black land mud and being heavy in foal. Anyway she wore an elevated shoe for 3 months. She gets around great and has produced 2 foals since. I just would not sell her as a riding horse no sense taking chances, so I consider her broodmare sound only. I will also release all of her medical records. Zetta's only fault in my eyes is her being a "Stall Pig", she is not a neat & tidy horse. She loads in a trailer with ease, backs out slowly, loves to be bathed, clips, will stand tied, she's got wonderful ground manners. Very polite mare, she is second in pecking order, she is one that will pin ears to move horses around she's not a kicker. She is currently in foal due March/April 2010. You can see more pictures of Zetta on her page and all the foals she has produced. The $5000 is before foaling.
~~TRADES~~~ I would consider trading her for a weanling/yearling (dunalino/grullo) that is NRBC & NRHA nominated/enrolled. Current/Modern reining bloodlines. I am a stickler for Straight legs!! I had purchased a colt in Dec 2008 from Idaho and sent him back for toeing out! I can send you the video I made if needed. I am very picky.
